Jozani Chakwa Bay National Park

Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, located in Zanzibar, Tanzania, was established as a forest reserve in the 1960s, initially serving as a hunting area for the rare Zanzibar leopard. It was officially upgraded to a national park in 1984 to protect the endangered Zanzibar red colobus monkey and its unique ecosystem.
